We are subletting our beloved home because we are travelling. The space
The apartment dates from 1824, and you can feel its long history in every detail: the terra-cotta tiles on the uneven floor, the wooden door and crooked beams, the staircase... we will tell you a little bit about the people who lived here before us if you are interested. Our little nest is tucked away in a quiet, flowery courtyard. Neighborbood Overview:

The area is very central and honestly the best of the city. There is nothing you can't find there. The river Seine with its beautiful foot-path leading to the church Nôtre Dame is 10 minutes walking. Place des Voges, the central square of the historic quarter Marais, is 5 minutes walking. In the surrounding streets you will find lots of nicely curated designer boutiques and concept stores, cafes and restaurants, some of them even vegetarian (still very rare in Paris!). Some of the best food and drink of Paris is happening here, the area is known for it. It's very hip, but you also have the old Paris that hasn't died yet: you will find shoemakers, furniture makers, flower shops and restaurants that have been there for ever.
