The space
A private villa situated on the edge of Kefalas village the villa is both accessible by foot to the village and in a peaceful location. Local villages provide authentic Greek tavernas or if you prefer a little more life you can visit the busier beach resort of Georgiopoulis or Almyrida. The villa at night is wonderful for relaxing and watching for shooting stars.

Kefalas Village is a traditional village with two supermarkets and two main taverns and often has live Greek music events.

Gavalohori is a local village with another popular local tavern.

Georgioupolis Beach is an amazing 8km long beach, at the village end there are plenty of tourist amenities and as you walk away from the village there is plenty of space with beautiful golden sand to get away from the crowds.
There are many beach bars and you can hire sunbeds. Also at Georgioupolis you can walk out to the little church on the left-hand side of the beach and on the main river you can rent a pedalo which takes you on a river trip to find very small turtles.

Ombrosgialos or Octopus Bay (as we call it) is just outside Kefalas on the road to Almyrida. It is a turning on the right – on a small tourist sign. Watch out for it – it takes you down a winding road to a very nice cove which is great for snorkeling.
