Villa “Spitaki” (means small house in Greek) was built in 1900 based in old traditional architectology.
It has four fully restored bedrooms in traditional Cretan style.
The two-level house situated in a quiet location in village Ano Kalessa, a picturesque little village on a green hill just 4km away from Ammoudara beaches and very close to Heraklion city.

The space
Our house is made out of stone and the 80cm thick walls act as a natural air-condition by keeping the house cool in summer.
Additionally, there is an original stone built fire-place which provides warm moments in the winter.

On Ground floor there is also a dining area with a large wooden monastery table, a kitchen with all the facilities, the fireplace and a WC/shower also.

In Ammoudara area there are various bars and restaurants and lots of nice on beach bars to enjoy a drink or cocktail while on beach. Heraklion city center is located about 16km from the house and you can be there within 20 minutes driving.
