South Harbour (Sydhavn) is one of the historical labour-districts of Copenhagen like Nørrebro and Vesterbro. The district consists of an old and a new part. Old Sydhavn is characerized by an architecturally consistent cityscape of charming red-brick-buildings from the early 1900's with beautiful details and high ceilings.
The new Sydhavn started to bloom in the late 00's from the industrial harbour-area. The construction of this ever expanding new neighborhood has been very well planned, with the intention of increasing life quality of the residents with green areas and canals separating the exclusive modern buildings.
