This compact comfy apartment is the perfect basis for exploring the cultural, gastronomic and fashion city of Antwerp. Located ideally between the old town and the hip district of 't Eilandje, you will be able to walk almost everywhere during your stay. This 50 cm2 one bedroom apartment is at the ground floor of a typical Antwerp house from 1800s. It has a living, a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom, kitchen, and a small terrace. The apartment is located at the back of the building, and does 'not' have any street views. It looks at the private small terrace through 2 windows in the kitchen. The living room and the bedroom has windows 'only' on the ceiling. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, an oven, microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a kettle. In the bedroom, there is a queen-size bed, and a closet. Bathroom has a bathtub with a shower in it. There are many many nice restaurants, cafe's in the neighborhood, I will be happy to share with you my tips if you like it. The landmark Mas museum is within only a few minutes of a walk, all cultural highlights are easily reachable by foot.

Travel Details from the host -> I live in Antwerp since 2001 and became a real local in the meantime. I love this city and enjoy living in the close proximity to all kinds of nice cafe's, restaurants, theathers, summer bars, stores, etc! In my free time, I like cooking, reading, watching films, spending time with friends, exploring new spots in and outside Antwerp. For sure you can count on me to get good advice on where to eat or go to, from fine dining to the most child-friendly places. I live almost next door to the apartment, together with my husband and two young children. After working for 15 years in a multinational company, mainly as Customer Service Manager, I have decided in 2017 to have some time off to spend with my family and follow my passions, and possibly make an own business out of it in the future. This also gave me the extra time to be able rent this apartment to guests, so that they can enjoy the space and this wonderful city. The apartment was originally meant for our family and friends visiting us from abroad, but we thought it will be a pity not to share it with others when it is not occupied.
