The Mill is secluded from the bustle of the resorts, and is about 25min drive to the Venetian Harbour town of Chania. The Mill offers exceptional accommodation, combining 21st Century comfort with original olive mill features. Surrounded by stunning sea and mountain views, Guests experience a real feeling of having ‘got away from it all‘.

The space
The Mill is equipped with an oil fired central heating system, providing effective background heating during the cooler months of the 'Low Season' between November and March. Wireless internet is available. There is a small library in The Mill which includes maps, reference books and guides. In addition, there are files which I have prepared entitled 'Places of Interest' and 'Things to Do'. The Mill is in an elevated location surrounded by a swathe of olive groves in the quiet hamlet of Harvata (in Venetian times called Peristeri), about 5km inland from the 'new' coast road (E65). The Mill is situated about 500 feet above sea level, and offers stunning mountain views to the south and views over the Bay of Hania and the Rodopou Peninsula to the north.
Although The Mill is in a secluded location and requires car hire, it offers easy access to the surrounding country side and coast.
Local amenities including mini-markets, a baker, tavernas, pharmacy, garage and the like are available in Tavronitis, less than 10 minutes drive from the Mill.
