The apartment is located in Dramia, a small traditional village in Chania, Crete. It is just a short walking distance to the small holiday village of Kavros (where you can find supermarkets, petrol station, bus station, lots of restaurants and cafe and many more) and 700 m from the sandy beach.
It’s also situated 4km east from Georgioupolis, close to the highway (40 km from Chania and 18 km from Rethymno). Kournas Lake, the only freshwater natural lake in Crete, is just 4 km away.

There is an easy access to the highway of Chania- Rethymno. It is situated in the ideal location for exploring the surrounding area and the lake of Kournas, as well as sunbathing on the longest sandy beach of Crete which starts from Georgioupolis and extends up to Rethymno.

I had my first holidays in Crete 19 years ago. I was immediately in love with this island of extraordinary beauty and fairly untouched nature and charmed by its cultural treasures and traditions. So, for the last 30 years (apart from some short breaks) I have been visiting Chania on an annual basis. It was obvious that someday I would fulfill my dream of buying a property of my own. And I'm thrilled I've made it. The house has been ready to accomodate people for 2 years now and I am glad to offer you a house where you can walk to the beach during the day, take a rest in the afternoon on the shady balconies and have a cocktail in the evening on the roof terrace gazing the sea and mountain views. During your stay, my dear local friend, Christina, who takes care of my house in my absence, will be available to answer your questions and help you with whatever you need. Mein Name ist Hannelore Schwarz, ich wohne und arbeite  in Deutschland. Meinen ersten Urlaub in  Kreta habe ich mit 19 Jahren unternommen. Ich war sofort verliebt in dieses, damals noch sehr ursprüngliche und naturbelassene, Land mit seinen Kulturschätzen und Traditionen, so dass ich, mit kleinen Unterbrechungen, seit über 30 Jahren hier her reise. Es lag auf der Hand, dass ich mir hier irgendwann meinen Traum von einer eigenen Immobilie erfüllen werde. Darüber bin ich sehr glücklich. In Kleinarbeit ist das Haus nun seit 2 Jahren endgültig fertig gestellt und ich freue mich, Ihnen ein Haus anbieten zu können, wo Sie tagsüber fußläufig zum Strand spazieren, am Nachmittag unter den zahleichen Schattenplätzen eine Ruhepause einnehmen und am Abend auf der Dachterrasse den weiten Meer- und Bergblick genießen können. Während Ihres Aufenthaltes steht Ihnen bei Fragen meine ansässige Freundin, Christina,die mein Haus in meiner Abwesenheit verwaltet, gerne zur Verfügung.
