Very french neighborhood. Voltaire/Place Leon Blum. Métro #9 and five buses,#46, #54, #69, #61, #75. Cafe's, restaurants, lunch spots, 3 groceries, different markets for meat, fish, cheese, fruit and veggies. Velib/Bike stations in 4 directions.
Things have changed since 2020. I left for 3 months, it turned into 2 years.
I rent the whole place when I'm away. Be aware, 2 flights of stairs and no elevator. Very french! Enjoy.

The space
I found this apartment to be cozy, close to everything, not too noisy, ( just the motorcycles but the bedroom is quiet) convenient to the metro and buses, a quick ride to all the tourist destinations and in a very French neighborhood. My apartment is COMPLETELY re-modeled, windows, floors, ceiling, kitchen bathroom. When I bought this it had a closed in kitchen, a toilet, linoleum floors and the walls covered the original stone. Neighborbood Overview:

This is a bustling neighborhood with every amenity you could wish for. A Target like place, Monoprix, is right across the street and they deliver. Their upstairs is a full grocery section. Or there is a cheaper super sized grocery across the Plaza, Auchun, or there is a fruit and veggie stand you can see from the window, and a butcher and a fish market, 3 bakeries at arms length. You can buy a lightbulb or fancy sheets. Everything. Then there are the restaurants, bars, vegan, fun lunch places, galleries and shops. And we are only 10 minutes by bike from the Marais, the 4th, a tourist center neighborhood, or 20 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by metro. For the tourist areas, the Opera , (Gallerie Lafayette/Printemps), the Champs Elysée, the Eiffel Tower etc, just jump on the 9 metro and you are there in 20-30 minutes depending on your destination. At night it quiets down but many of the cafes stay open. There is a yoga studio on my block. Very convenient. You'll love it.
