The charming city of Chania, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, is less than 15 minutes drive. Every Saturday, there is a market where you can pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as the local yoghurts and cheese. The old town has a mix of shops ranging from a bootmaker to boutique clothing.
