The space
The asymmetric space (due to the lack of urban planning in the area in the early 1970s) has been restored to its original era. Materials from the late 1960s early 1970s yield a warm yet Doric aesthetic. For example, cement and wood were used for John Lautner-inspired built-in furniture: the bathtub becomes the sink, becomes the desk; more of a statue than construction. The wooden daybed (Greek ὄντας) turns into Fibonacci sequence spaced shelves, turns into the bed, turns into the closet.
