It is a traditional Cretan villa with intense features of Cretan architecture and decoration. It consists of 5 interiors and a terrace overlooking the Libyan Sea and Petrolivan forest. Each space is decorated with traditional Cretan objects (antiques, textiles, handicrafts, etc.) while the elements and influences of oriental culture are not missing. All rooms are bright and communicate with the central terrace.

The space
The guest has access to an outdoor Cretan wood-fired oven located on the porch of the house as well as an indoor fireplace and wood-burning stove that provide warm and pleasant hospitality during the winter months.

The picturesque narrow streets of Stavrochori cross the small and picturesque square located in the center of the village. There are 2 tavernas where guests can enjoy traditional Cretan dishes at very low prices.

A few meters below there is the historic chapel of Panagia Mesochoria and Agios Georgios dating from 600 AD, while the hagiographies that adorn the Temple date from 1300 AD. Right next to this church there is a grocery store.

At the edge of the village is the Primary School of Stavrochori, which today houses one of the largest libraries in the area.

Built at an altitude of 333 meters, Stavrochori is in a central position among the other villages, making it easy and immediate to access the famous beaches of Southern Crete (15 'from Diaskari, 12' from the port of Makrigialos, 10 'from its beach).
