Beaches and facilities near the house
Ahladi Beach is just a 5 minute walk from the house and so you are likely to go there on more than one occasion. It’s a cosy beach with a fine ‘taverna’ for having coffee or a nice lunch in your beach outfit. You will find there a genuine mix of locals, Athenians and foreign visitors enjoying the lovely swimming water. Another 10 minute walk gets you to Vari Beach where you will find a few taverna’s and bars and a small supermarket. There is another supermarket a little more into the village where you can get a fresh loaf of bread every morning.

Travel Details from the host -> Hi, my name is Pieter and next to me on the picture is Karine. The house has been our family vacation home since my father and mother built it over 40 years ago. You see, I am half-Greek/half-Dutch and I live in the Netherlands (I always have). Syros has been my holiday destination since childhood.
