A dancer/choreographer with a spare room in my flat on a lively neighbourhood. Permanent flatmate moved, so occasionaly renting this room of 24sqm to Vienna visitors, either you are here for fun or work.Old flat.This means cheap but charming!

The space
Spacious and cosy room in a flat of 96sqm. The room is 24sqm and can very comfortably host two guests with all your luggage. This is not a flat that you have as a whole for your own. You have your private bedroom and I have mine. I used to have a permanent flatmate but she moved and I decided to pass this extra room to AirBnB for temporary visitors.
The kitchen is big enough to be used also as a common room.There are plenty of plants in the flat, in case this makes any difference for you. Since the flat is old, it makes it a cheap solution for temporary visitors.
All rooms are very big and with high ceilings and big doors, typical Viennese Altbau style.

in area-Vienna, Austria

Reumannplatz is considered one of the most lively neighbourhoods in Vienna. Full of activity most of the day and with shops and super markets around. You will always find a place to eat here, mainly Turkish food as the district is mainly populated by Turkish and other Balkans. However, not really a place to find nice bars. Pharmacy, bakery and kiosk just around the corner.
There is also a farmer's market down the street every day (apart from Sundays). The highlight is the swimming pool and sauna (Amalienbad) just opposite the flat. If you like icecream, here is also the best icecream in town, the Tichy icecream shop just around the corner. It's open seasonaly from mid-March to mid-October. The whole city comes here to eat Tichy icecream.
The square, Reumannplatz, is exactly in front of the flat. This means that there are no high buildings directly in front of us. As a result the rooms are quite sunny. Perhaps too sunny if you are planning to sleep in! :)

Travel Details from the host -> I am a dancer/choreographer, originally from Greece and living in Vienna since 2011. Quite a quiet flatmate and reasonably friendly, I respect the privacy of my guest but I am also always willing to offer any help requested as long as I can. I travel very often mostly because of work. I am either touring as a dancer or I travel with my side job as a Tour Director, taking high school pupils from the USA and Canada to educational trips in Europe. In summer I enjoy going back home to Greece and spend time by the sea with friends or family.
