Villa Farangi is located just outside of the village of Gallos, close to the town of Rethymnon in an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level. The Villa is situated next to the gorge, leading from the village of Gallos to Somatas, providing lovely views of the surrounding area and the mediterranean sea. The name of the Villa is derived from the gorge (Farangi means gorge). The gorge has recently officially been appointed by the Greek government as a Green Zone. The location is rural but not too rural. The owner is a Dutch national, residing in Germany.
