The building is a restored neoclassical townhouse and originates from around 1830. The entrance is original with the old tiles and big oak stairway.

The apartment is refreshed in June 2019 with small renovations, new paint, new bedding/towels and a beautifull new retro design sofa.

It's a very quite street, but surroundend with nice little restaurants and bars and great shops.
Just around the corner of the Hendrik Conscience square with its beautifull buildings from the 17th century, a must visit!

From the apartment you can easily walk to the shopping, nightlife or theater district or to the docks ("kaaien").

Just a perfect spot to enjoy the beautifull city of Antwerp!

Travel Details from the host -> Hi, I'm Paul. Born in 1975, married to Maud and with a young daughter. We are original Dutch, but we live in Belgium for 10-15 years now. I'm working as a contracts manager for Stork (a Fluor company) and my wife works in the hospitality business in Antwerp. We live in the Belgium countryside close to the Dutch border, but used to live downtown and hence we kept our love for Antwerp. In 2019 we got the opportunity to buy a beautiful little property in one of the best area's in Antwerp, which we would like to share with you. In our apartment we brought the rustic atmosphere of our home to the beautiful city of Antwerp. Very pleased to meet you!
