Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently.

It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming.
The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

The space
Because of the old eco-friendly way the house has been built, it stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Sivas is a small, traditional village which has existed since 900 AD. There are 6 taverns, cafes and grocery stores.

Other things to note
In order to enjoy the nature of the extended area, it is better that you rent a car or motorcycle
