Across the street there are many of the most well known local restaurants in Antwerp and of course the famous Museum of fine arts, "Museum voor Schone Kunsten", a building you cannot miss! You find also the museum of modern art, "Mukha", and the photo museum in a few minutes walk. When the sun is shining we definitely recommend "Marnix plaats", the city square that catches all the sunlight with many nice cafe's and restaurants. The shopping streets (Meir, Nationale straat, Schuttershofstraat, etc.) are all at walking distance from the apartment. (Supermarket and bank are at 1 min walking distance.)
