This is my Oasis in Vienna, I put a lot of heart and time in decorating it, each piece of furniture is either self-made or hand-picked. The living room and bedroom are facing southwards, so there is a lot of light during the day, and the whole building is surrounded by backyards, so it is quiet enough to sleep with open windows, even though it is very central and everything you might need is in walking distance.

The space
The appartement is situated in a back-house (so no side is facing a street, which makes it very quiet) on the third floor without an elevator. When you enter the house you would never suspect such a hidden gem in it. The living room, bedroom and bathroom have floor heating, so no cold feet in winter. In the toilet it can get a bit crisp, but you find a radiator there which heats it up within short time.

Very close by you find Yppenplatz, one of the to-go places in Vienna for breakfast and sunny days with lots of nice little coffeeshops and restaurants. For grocery shopping you can either go to Brunnenmarkt, or one of the many supermarkets nearby. If you want to go out, the Gürtel offers a variety of bars and small music clubs for almost every taste within a few minutes walking by foot.

Travel Details from the host -> Born in Lower Austria, now living and loving in Vienna. I was working as an interior designer for seven years, now I am a personal trainer/ mental- and movement coach and study social work. I share my appartement with two cats (who are not there when I rent it out) and am generally crazy for animals and nature, am interested in Social Sciences, Cultures and Philosophy as well as very much into Martial Arts and movement in general.
