Travel Details from the host -> I came to Crete 5 years ago, and fell in love with the island and my wife. I'm a dentist in Athens. One of my memorable experiences is traveling on my motorbike around Europe, exploring new places. I love the sea and all the activities related to that, which is one of the main reasons why I think Makrigialos is a wonderful place. My first experience with Cretans and their hospitality is something I haven't experienced anywhere in the world.... amazing. I still remember my first night walking barefoot on the seashore with a glass of Raki feeling the "natural spa" of fish nibbling my feet. My adventurous boat trip to Koufonisi which was the worlds commercial center of "porphyra" made me feel like Tom Hanks in " Cast Away".
