Ein echtes Beach Highlight am Strand von Ierapetra, der südlichsten Stadt Europas, ist unser Mare Cottage. Das Haus mit einer schönen, von außen nicht einsehbaren Terrasse liegt in erster Reihe direkt am Meer - so nah am Wasser darf hier heute gar nicht mehr gebaut werden. Der Strand wurde im Übrigen für seine gute Wasserqualität mit der blauen Flagge ausgezeichnet und ist ideal zum Schnorcheln.

Das Mare Cottage wurde gerade erst frisch renoviert und sehr durchdacht und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In dem mediterran-sommerlich anmutenden Haus stimmt wirklich jedes Detail. So ist etwa die Küche komplett und sehr gut ausgestattet - das Kochen macht hier wirklich Freude, zumal ganz in der Nähe gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden sind. Auch eine Waschmaschine, Bügelbrett und -eisen sind vorhanden. Das Ferienhaus besitzt ein Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage und einem Doppelbett (Allergiker-Matratze).
