The apartment is on the fourth floor by elevator and is often flooded with light, especially in the spring and summer. It has a lovely atmosphere and is a peaceful haven to come home to after a busy day out in the city.

It's spacious, with a great layout consisting of a large sunny entrance hall/dining area, an open plan kitchen, living room and a serene bedroom with en suite bathroom.

The location is great, just a few minutes walk in one direction from Kettenbruckengasse, the closest u-bahn station. Right alongside it is Vienna's colourful food market and the very cool fleamarket that buzzes on Saturdays. In this area there is also an array of wonderful cafes and restaurants, art galleries, small boutiques and vintage shops. You are also in walking distance of Stephansplatz and the centre of town - only 10-15 minutes from here.

In the other direction you can reach Mariahilferstrasse in just a few minutes, one of Vienna's main pedestrian shopping streets and also home to the Museums Quartier, with its expansive collection of contemporary art, surrounded by bars and restaurants and often a DJ playing in the courtyard in the summer.

There is a Spa Gourmet across the road, a juice bar, a wonderful Apotheke and a number of restaurants all in walking distance from the flat. We are also 5 minutes away from an English speaking cinema.

Travel Details from the host -> I’ve lived in Vienna for over 14 years, since I met and married my husband Roman and moved here from London. We have 2 kids, Harper and Phoebe who are 14 and 11. We use airbnb when we travel and really appreciate how easy it is for families - with that in mind it's really nice to host others and hopefully make guests feel as welcome as we do.
