Our house is located in a sparsely populated area in the outskirts of Horafakia . Horafakia is a quiet village surrounded by three amazing beaches: Kalathas, Tersanas and Stavros . There is though a supermarket, pharmacy, gas station, car rental as well as nice tavernas , cafes and a pool bar within 5 minutes from the house. Ideal for bicycle rides . Your kids will easily find a companion to play in the outdoor basketball court which is 100 meters away and the village's meeting point and play area. The route from Gouverneto Monastery to the Agios Ioannis flume is ideal even for inexperienced hikers.

Travel Details from the host -> My hometown, Chania , is a beautiful place offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy life outdoors. So I love the sea, boat rides and spearfishing . Reviving old motorbikes and bicycles is my favourite pastime as well as riding them! I and my wife used to travel abroad a lot (mostly Europe) before we had our kids . Now they are 5 and 8 and hopefully we will get back to it as we all love travelling!
