The space
Dove View, at Pelagaia Villas, is 10 minutes drive from Batsi and 30 minutes from Gavrio, the port where the ferry arrives. It is accessed by a well-maintained, well-lit, paved donkey-path which leads our guests from the parking area close by down to the property. It is private and secluded and its tranquility is immeasurable. We have a spring a short walk away and collecting figs along the way in July/August is an absolute treat! The area nearby has just a few residences of local people so peace and quiet is guaranteed! The small road is only for these few houses so there are no noisy cars or motor bikes! On your walk to the nearby natural water spring or to pick figs, you may see a few locals to say hello to, but that will be all! The setting is ideal for relaxing but close enough to Batsi for evenings out, if you like.
