Perfect place for peace and quiet holidays

The space
We have 4 clean spacious rooms which sleep 2 people and a third on a sofa bed, or fold up bed for a small laundry charge. All rooms have bathrooms, showers and toilets for private use. They all have a kettle, binoculars, a small fridge and hairdryers.
We also have private seating areas and provide all the laundry required free of charge.

There are 4 excellent reasonably priced traditional tavernas in the village so there are ample choices of where to eat. Another 2 tavernas are within a couple of kilometers from the house.
We can also help you decide which one to choose depending on what you want to eat during your stay. There is also a well stocked mini market in the village if you want to get local wine, cheese, honey, raki, olive oil, personal items, or just a few beers and an ice cream.

It's the ideal place to get to the middle part of the island. Arcadi monastery is 10 mins from the house. Ancient Eleftherna and the newly opened museum is 5 mins from our house. You can go through the mountains (stunning views) to the south of the island and there are lovely traditional welcoming village tavernas on the way.
We can show you some great places to visit around here and provide maps so you don't get lost. It's a great area to stay as lots of places to visit. Marguarites, the pottery village is a 10 minute drive. Perama, a great little town is 15 mins away and you can see local life there. Near to Anogia, Zoniana, Melidoni, Bali, Panormo, Platanes, Stavremenos, Maroulas, Thronos, Loutra, Kiriana, Adele and of course the amazing City of Rethymnon.

He is a retired shopfitter and has been a trainer and worked as a manufacturer for many years. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, meeting people and travelling.
