Rural setting between the mountain and the sea. Rural but not isolated. There is other houses in the surrounding vineyards.
The house is surrounded by one acre of land which carries pine, fig, apricot, lemon, olive trees, and a huge collection of cactuses. Right outside our walls there is three tiny churches which our visitors are free to visit. Honey is collected on the slopes of the mountain behind our house.
A quiet sandy beach is at walking distance from the house. The nearest organized beach, Vourvoulos beach, is just 3 km from the house. Many more taverns and restaurants as well as super markets, tourist offices, and rental car agencies can be found at Fira or Oia.

Travel Details from the host -> I was born in Pireas the port of Athens. I have made Santorini my home the last 30 years. Lately I bought three houses by the sea which I have decided to rent for a few years. I am the owner of the houses I rent. In the winter when there is hardly any tourist movement in Santorini I travel a lot. Always I choose to stay in a private house. I have a long experience as a tourist so I think I can be a real good host. Living in Santorini for 30 years I have come to know every small corner of the island.
