The church of Pantanassa, which is next to the house, was built in 1669 after some years the house was build also and still remains the same. From the back side of the house there is a large veranda built on a rock 210 meters above sea level. Travel Details from the host -> Hello I am Margarita and I am from Folegandros, from the village Ano Meria. I grew up in Athens and studied acting and worked, as an actress in theater and cinema but my dream was always to come back to my island. So with my husband Dionysis took the big decision to stay and work in Folegandros. Is wonderful every morning watching the beautiful view of the sea and the traditional landscape. We love walking the hiking trails on the island,the swimming and certainly the good local food! On the sandy beach of Agali we rent two beautiful apartments and hosting people from all around the world! Also, in the traditional village of Ano Meria we rent two beautiful stone houses "Themonia", which were renovated by my grandfather, who was the best builder working only with local stones and technique. We love so much meeting new people because we are very sociable and communicative persons! We hope with our hospitality and the information we give to our guests, to help them in order to discover the beauties of the island and spend unforgettable holidays. Anyway..... Life is better at the beach! ......
