Our house is built in Agios Ioannis village,South of Crete, just a few meters away from the sea.It is ideal for families,people who want to explore the mountain,the beaches and generally everyone who wants to disconnect,relax and find a peacful place with hospitable people.

The space
The house is about 120 square meters.There is a big balcony and a veranda where you can relax and enjoy the lovely view and the beautiful sunset.Every room has an A/C.There are two bathrooms,a kitchen,one television and a fireplace in the living room .There is also a queen size bed on the first floor made for two people,two regular ones on the ground floor in a seperate room and another one in the living room. We can bring one more bed (ranch) for a 6th person to sleep.Behind the big house there is a small one where we stay some days of the year

The area is ideal for hiking and exploring the nearby beaches with the crystal clear waters and the beautiful paths of the mountain. There are also many monasteries in and out of the village to explore and learn about. Some of them are Agios-Ioannis (10 minutes on foot) , Agios-Antonios (35-45 minutes on foot) and of course the great monastery of Koudoumas (one and a half hour on foot). We strongly recommend you to visit all of them during your stay. The village has a cafeteria (Gialos cafe) above the beach where you can try some traditional foods and enjoy your coffee with a great view a few meters from the sea. There you can ask everything you want about the area including more as the people working there are very hospitable an helpful. You can buy some basic stuff from the mini market of the village which is in the center of it. We suggest you to take supplies from Heraklion or a village on the road coming. There is also a tavern in Kapetaniana village.
