The space
The apartment is situated on the 1st floor and takes the entire floor. It is very spacious, airy and its special features are extra length beds, top quality mattresses, pillows and superior linen. We have also provided beach towels. The bathroom has a shower and a bath for relaxation, and an area with the washing machine. The lounge has a large comfortable sofa couch which sleeps 2 and a dining area with a table for 6. There is a reading and laptop working area and desk. Nea Chora is a residential suburb situated in Chania and boasts the lovely beach of Nea Chora and the newly completed promenade. Coffee shops and seafood restaurants line the promenade. Our guesthouse is within 15 minutes of the Old Venetian Harbour, the town of Chania and all amenities. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, ATM's, Post Office, banks, children's parks all within walking distance. Mini markets stay open late.

Travel Details from the host -> Nick and I are South African Greeks and passionate about family. We have 3 adult daughters and 3 grandchildren who all live abroad. When we are altogether here in Crete we are truly the Big fat Greek family. We named the guesthouse after Nick's mother Marika who loved her family, loved life and lived it to the full. I believe that life is a gift and we have so much to be thankful for. We love Crete and all it has to offer and hope to share many experiences with our guests.
