The space
The Old Town of Rhodes is a world heritage location and is a unique place to be. All the rooms are different. Not many places are in the higher part of town which is a little quieter, so there are great views from the upstairs rooms to the sea and the huge walled fortifications.

Guest access
As well as your private room with bathroom, you can use the downstairs hallway and the courtyard for reading and relaxation.

Other things to note
The narrow streets of the Old Town are paved with pebbles so comfortable walking shoes are necessary. You must walk through the Old Town as there is no transport. The Old town is a fascinating place. There are Roman ruins exposed to remind people that there are layers of history here. Byzantine churches, mosques and monuments from the Ottoman era together with the Medieval buildings and the Italian buildings of the new town chart the islands turbulent occupations and tragedies. There is a Jewish Museum in memory of the Jewish community which was deported during WW2. The fortifications are magnificent and you are able to walk on the walls and view this magnificent feat of construction. At night it buzzes with restaurants and shops and bars. This is a very special place.
