Efthimia's house is a traditional stone house situated in the old neighborhood of Kavousi village, between the two byzantine churches of Saint George and Twelve Apostles.
The history of this house includes a true love story and marriage during the years of the 1 rst World War of my Great-granparents Efthimia and Michalis.
About 100 years later my fother and i decided to restore and renovate this traditional house with much love and respect and to offer a real Cretan experience to our guests.

The house is 70m away from the main square of the village with huge plane trees,traditional cofeehouses,tavernas,
and a mini market.
If you like history or nature this place is ideal for you.Few steps from the house you can follow the E4 if you like to visit the monumentary ancient olive tree 2 km above the village or the minoan archeological sites around.About 3 km from the village is the sandy beach of Tholos with shallow water and tamarisks.
