The space
This cute and cosy beach house consists of three levels. The ground floor features a small dining area and kitchenette. A bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom are located at the back. The second level is an open loft with two single beds. The third floor is a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The bedroom offers a double bed, a single bed and one small single bed that can sleep a child.
The private terrace right at the seafront is perfect for lying back with a good book; sunbathing and enjoying home cooked meals. The beach in front the house is a volcanic pebble beach, perfect for swimming and kayak excursions to the nearby small bays. We provide the kayaks!

Armeni Beach House is located in a truly unique spot of the caldera, at the foot of the cliff where stands Oia. It is located in the small, and picturesque Armeni bay, which only numbers a few houses, a restaurant and a pier where private yachts dock. The house is located only few steps away from the sparkling blue waters. What makes Armeni Bay special, is that is not accessible by car. The two options for accessing Armeni bay are the following: 1)There is a path of 300 steps, linking this small port with the centre of the village of Oia. It is a 15-20 minutes hike through steps. You would need to be reasonably fit and like exercising for these steps. 2) We have our own private boat, and captain, for transporting our guests, upon check in, check out and during their stay. Travel Details from the host -> I am from Athens, however I have very close ties with two beautiful Greek islands Santorini and Patmos. As my father’s family is from Santorini I spent all my summers there. Since I am a licensed tour guide, in 2004 I decided to move to Santorini in order to work there. This was a great chance to start renovating my family’s properties in order to be able to share them with people from all over the world. In addition, many years ago, my mother visited the island of Patmos, fell in love with it and decided to buy two beautiful pieces of land, including very old farmhouses in ruinous condition, that she slowly renovated. In this way, our family and numerous friends enjoyed many unforgettable Patmos Easters and summers. Nowadays, I am responsible for the good condition of the houses that I rent out and share the beauty and special ambiance of this island with our guests. I am very lucky since my twin daughters, Alexandra and Christina, having completed their studies abroad in hospitality management and tourism, returned to their roots in order to continue and develop what I started. Genuine hospitality, love and respect for the island, as well as the embracement of the local culture define our core values. Nowadays we all share our time between Santorini, Patmos and Athens, and have the honor and pleasure to share our family’s story and our love for these islands, with visitors from all over the world. After many years in the hospitality industry, today I have the pleasure along with my daughters to embrace one more much loved island home, my husband's summer house on the island of Hydra.
