Neighborbood Overview:

Belleville is a lively area of Paris, close to Place de la République. You find a lot of Chinese and Arabic restaurants nearby. You can go by foot in 10 minutes to Buttes Chaumont (my favorite park in Paris), Canal Saint Martin (a hipster spot), rue Oberkampf (full of bars and restaurants), Place de la République, etc.

When you travel in Paris, especially in Summer, it is better to book in advance:
- boat cruise on the Seine (bateaux mouches)
- Eiffel tower
- Louvre
- Château de Versailles
- Michelin-star restaurant (my recommendation: Kei, 5 Rue Coq Héron, 1st district)
