Here massive wooden double doors with their original locks open onto a large entrance area, from there, stone steps descend into a cool open plan area, while a staircase curves up to the first floor. Descending the stone steps you come into the main living room, with stone floor and massive 5m high ceiling beams. This is a great airy space, and with the stone walls, floor and high ceilings it is always cool in the summer.
