A chic neighborhood in the 6th district (rue Massena) where Lyon residents live and meet. Lots of very nice restaurants.
This studio mezzanine is in an old building 1900 very bright and quiet (we don't hear cars at all) with beautiful volumes. Office space, high-performance WIFI.
Very easy access to the subway, railway station Part-Dieu, shopping center Part-Dieu (one of the biggest in Europe).
Ideal to work in Lyon or to visit the tourist places and to return in a quiet quarter in the evening.

The space
We live in Switzerland (Swiss Jura) and come to our studio in Lyon with our 2 teenagers very regularly.
We love this city (and they too), as much for shopping, the quantity and variety of restaurants as for urban architecture and cultural life.
Every stay is different and we go from discovery to discovery (which we will share).

When we are here in general, on Saturday morning the boys go to the market behind the apartment, then stroll in the park of the Tête d'Or or take a coffee on a terrace at the Brotteaux while the girls go shopping in La Part-Dieu. After having put the packages in the apartment and then eaten a greedy salad (prepared by the boys with the fresh products :-), direction Le Vieux-Lyon (oldtown), by subway, or walking through the docks. At the afternoon: stroll through the various districts or museum then at evening we go to see a show or to the cinema. After a nice day, we come back in the evening to a quiet area where you feel safe).

To see in the district:
- Les Brotteaux: the old railway station and the district is now a beautiful neighborhood with nice terraces for a coffee or restaurants
- Les Halles Bocuse de Lyon: gastronomic market (expensive but exceptional quality) - You can also eat on site (ditto)
- Park of La tête d'or : magnificent walk between the win

Travel Details from the host -> We are born in France and live now in Switzerland with our two teenagers. We both work as independant workers (informatic and marketing). We welcoming guest in our Studio in Lyon (France) and also love to use Airbnb for our holidays. We always had good experiences. We love discover capitals on vacation, and walk through nice small streets.
