My apartment is situated very close to the heart of the city, on the second floor of a 4-store building. There are 2 bedrooms with in each a double bed, basic bathroom with toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen, sunny living room, small terrace overlooking peaceful gardens. NO ELEVATOR! Central heating in every room, wifi, washing machine, television, DVD-player, CD- and recordplayer; cd's and lp's to listen to, lots of books. Nothing fancy, but clean, practical and cosy.

The apartment is situated at 500 m from the historical centre of Gent. You won't need a car. Just walk and you will see all the historical buildings and museums, shops, fancy bars and restaurants Gent is proud of.

Parking is available in my street or in the surrounding streets and is charged between 9am and 11pm. Between 9am and 7pm, you can park for a maximum of 5 hours at 9 euros for the total duration (1 hour costs 1.80 euros). Between 7pm and 11pm, you pay 1.50 euros per hour. An alternative is the underground car park in Ramen. There you pay 14 euros for 24 hours.

Both my street and the car park are in the low-emission zone (LEZ)!

Travel Details from the host -> I was born and raised in Gent. I work as a free lance dramaturg, mainly for youth theatre companies in Gent, Antwerp and Brussels. Next to that, I'm a writer. Untill now I published four books, three of them for children and one for adults.
