The space
The studio itself is on the 2nd floor of a 18th-century building with stone stairs and beautiful frontage in the quiet Emile Duploye Street. It's perfect for romantic getaways, family or friends trips.
It has a confortable bed for two, a table for four and a fully equipped kitchen which includes induction hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
From the main room, you can climb the ladder to the mezzanine where there is a confortable bed for two or go to the balcony.
Under the mezzanine, you'll find the bathroom, with wc, shower and door to the second balcony.
The use of the Internet (Wi-Fi) is included in the price .

Our building is located in the very heart of Bordeaux, between the magnificent Place de la Bourse, with its memorable 18th-century architectural buildings and contemporary Water Mirror on one side, and the charming Place Saint-Pierre, with its old Church and delicious restaurants on the other side. (30 meters from the appartment to the Place de la Bourse and 80 meters to the Place Saint-Pierre). Every thing you wish to visit is in walking distance.

Should you want to go further away (how about a day to the beach or a visit to the Saint-Émilion's vineyards?), the tram station is 150 meters and drives you directly to the train station.

Just accross the quay, stretching for more than 7 km along the Garonne, there is a pedestrian & biking area linking the old Napoleonic bridge (Pont de pierre) to the brand new vertical-lift bridge (Pont Chaban). If you feel athletic or adventurous you can follow the whole circuit on both banks of the river. Otherwise, you may just

Travel Details from the host -> Nous étions un couple d'inséparables Bordelais aimant les voyages, les rencontres et les vieilles pierres. Il y a quatre ans, nous avons eu l'opportunité de récupérer trois logements quasiment à l'abandon dans un très bel immeuble du Vieux-Bordeaux. Nous avons décidé de les rénover pour les mettre à disposition des voyageurs AirBNB. Malheureusement en juillet 2020, Jean-Michel est décédé brusquement - me laissant ces appartements comme dernier cadeau. A sa mémoire, je vais continuer à les mettre à disposition de la communauté Airbnb en espérant arriver à faire partager aussi bien que lui l'attrait pour ce quartier St-Pierre, si vivant et chaleureux.
