The village Perchtoldsdorf (which is actually a small city with 18.000 inhabitants) is very popular because it offers a lot of nature and quiet in form of parks, green zones, vineyards and hiking trails (rewarding you with delicious food in one of the many cabins in the woods) but is still so close to Vienna's city center.
It is very loved because of its picturesque old town, vinoculture and famous Austrian restaurants called "Heurigen" where they sell their own wine and typical food.
It offers like 7 types of supermarkets, a swimming pool as well as an ice-skating ring in winter and a new climbing hall.
There are many bakeries and coffee shops, one is vegetarian and vegan.
There are two swimming lakes just a 15 minute car ride away.
