What is more ,  a  short walk in the  village will offer a glimpse of some of the numerous newly- renovated traditional stone houses which decorate its narrow streets. Just behind  the house there is also a small chapel build by my parents dedicated to Saint John the foreigner as he 's known in greek (Ai giannis o ksenos)  , right on the spot where his house used to stand a bit more than 1000 years ago .
